Light Faeries Illustration
This image was basically a follow up to my Spring Card Designs, where I wanted to work more on my values.
This time I also focused a lot on lighting.
Like a lot of my singular illustration work, I usually start of with a sketch on paper, and then decide to finish it digitally. As Bob Ross would say, they’re happy accidents.
In the end the illustration got a bit of a Anton Pieck vibe, and I added a wisp, which is why it’s called Light Faeries.
Light Faeries Timelapse
Every now and then I upload videos to my YouTube. Because Procreate offers the option for a timelapse, I decided to upload it to YouTube. But instead of just adding a random song, I created a short soundtrack/soundscape for the viewer to enjoy. I wanted it to match the feeling of the illustration. Somewhat magical, nighttime, a safe feeling, yet curious because of the little sounds I added here and there.
